This week

Rain

The Oaks
Glockenblumenbaum
the café next door

I had the pentax with me all week, hanging around my neck, lying in my backpack or carrying in my hands - ready to take out whenever I see something I would like to capture. On Thursday I thought I will not be able to fill the roll till the weekend...but well it is the weekends and the many walks I do which show me things most of the times...Here are the first pictures of the third film I took...

We got lots of rain this week, can you see it is getting Autumn here....?

A very nice little clip

It is raining cats and dogs here in Sydney.....and I am thinking of Hamburg and realise how fast you can get used to good weather...but right now I actually enjoy the rain...and its sound

four pictures from our weekend for you,
a little friend outside our window...and a little sewing project for a friend of mine

I am having a new roll in my camera...let's see when the light is back to take some pictures.

My ears and eyes were carried away by the YouTube Symphony Orchestra event which took place on Sunday ...it was spectacular

A couple more...

Cup of tea
Sydney
Flower Shop
Flower Shop
Fratelli Fresh
checks

Here are some more pictures from the roll...you see that they are a bit over exposed and also some of them have strips on them as if the film was not tight enough in it. I need to take more care of that...

#1 Start the day with a tea
#2 Sydney in the morning - it seems everyone is on its way
#3 We have this beautiful flower shop in our neighbourhood. I love to pass it when its closed and the whole shop is full, so full with beautiful flowers
#4 but also like it to pass it when it is open and the whole street in front of it seems like a garden
#5 Shopping groceries
#6 Me again in the mirror...

A wonderful start in the new week

Blue

The Three Sisters - Blue Mountains
Blue Mountains View
Blue Mountains lunch

Sorry it has taken me so long to show you more images from our trip to the Blue Mountains. I was busy all week and also needed to shoot the remaining images on the film...Well, I picked up the film an hour ago - I am alway so excited to finally see them and tend to walk faster and faster as closer I get to the shop. Unfortunately the result is not as amazing as it was with the first film. I think I need to get better in figuring out how this camera works...

Anyways...more pictures - not so perfect ones, will come soon...

Do you have a great weekend so far?

I am having a great one, with early mornings, walks through the city, coffee breaks, an early morning swim this morning, hearing the sewing machine again since it has been a while since I made something, finishing a book and now chopping carrots and zucchini for a minestrone...

Have a look at this blog, it is beautiful. Máni captures moments with her camera so beautifully...

A trip out of the city

The Blue Mountains
Hiking in the Blue Mountains

When you live in a big city, days, weeks, even months can go by without leaving it. It seems like a little world on its own. But when you do the step out of it you ask yourself after a while why you didn't do this a lot earlier.

We have been to the Blue Mountains on the weekend and it was really beautiful. The blue dust, which the trees seem to 'breathe' out lies like a cloud over these mountainous area. We were hiking between the big Eucalytus trees, stones and waterfalls breathed in the fresh air into our lungs.

Thank you so much for all your great comments on my last pentax posts. I filled in a new roll of film and hope I can show you soon some more pictures of our Blue Mountains trip.

I wish you all good start into the new month.
I hope March will be a bit quieter than February
